采用旋转圆柱体法研究了不同Cr_2O3含量的耐火材料在炉外精炼渣中的溶解动力学。结果表明,镁铬材料的Cr_2O3/MgO值越高,抗渣(CaO/SiO2=1.2)蚀性越强。显微观察和电子探针分析结果证实:复合尖晶石的溶蚀主要是其中MgO·Al_2O3的溶解。

Abstract:

The dissolution kinetics of some magnesite-chrome refractories with various Cr_2O3 contents in secondary steelmaking slag (CaO/SiO2=1.2) has been studied by means of the rotating cylinder method under forced convection. It is shown that magnesite-chrome refractory absorbs slag during the dissolution tests and causes expansion at the sam time. The dissolution activation energy for magnesite.chrome refractory is about 322kJ/mol and there is a linear relationship between dissolution rate and 0.7 power of revolution speed.The process of dissolution of magnesite-chrome refractory in secondary steelmaking slag is controlled by the diffusion mechanism in the boundary layer. It is also shown that the higher the Cr_2O3/MgO value of the magnesite-chrome refractories studied, the greater will be the corrosion resistance to slag(CaO/SiO2=1.2). Based on the results of optical microscopy and EPMA of specimens before and after slag tests, the corrosion of the spinel solid solution is mainly due to the dissolution of MgO·Al_2O3 in slag.
